En 1996, Jephan de Villiers, sculpteur et écrivain, m'a ouvert son atelier de Bruxelles, en lisière de la forêt de Soignes. A partir de cette rencontre, j'ai commencé à composer des œuvres sonores avec sa complicité (voix, gestes, matériaux), dans l'intimité de ses espaces de travail, dans la forêt…
Aujourd'hui, je propose à l'auditeur d'entrer à son tour en ce territoire de l'écoute, dans l'imaginaire sonore de l'artiste, de son œuvre - entre paysage réel et rêvé.

In 1996, Jephan de Villiers, sculptor and writer, opened his studio in Brussels, near Forêt de Soignes. From this meeting, I began to compose sound works with his complicity (voice, gestures, materials), in the intimacy of his working spaces, in the forest...
Today, I propose to the listener to enter in this territory of listening, into the sound imagination of the artist - between reality and dream.


Fast acht Jahre lang hat Eric La Casa an diesem Projekt mit dem und über den Bildhauer und Schriftsteller Jephan de Villiers gearbeitet, der sein Atelier im Wald von Soignes bei Brüssel hat und dort in enger Beziehung zur Natur lebt und arbeitet.
